Lets just say it was a busy busy December with sewing, sewing and more sewing!
Because homemade gifts are the best it was a busy sewing month. Frozen quilts. Christmas qaspeq vests. And just call me the crazy bag lady it was a busy month of bag making.
I have decided to move forward and start my own sewing business. Coming up with the business name was tough but I nailed it down to Sew Yup’ik.

Lets just say its been a busy month. With the new year approaching I am so thankful for my amazing supportive family and my obsessive personality to never sit down and rest and to always keep busy.
May your new year bring on happiness, good cheer, and all smiles!
Love your Frozen quilts! Can I ask where you got the character fabric from?
I got the Frozen panels from JoAnn Fabrics. They are panels to make into books, but I decided a quilt would be better. I think you can also order them online from fabric.com
Fabulous – thank you! 🙂
Happy Crafting! 🙂
I would like to purchase the first pastel bag that you have on your page and I love the new style of quspuks that you made is that for sale? How much is the wall hanging with the Elan or Skandic snow machine?
Fabulous work
Unfortunately that one is sold. I am in the process of finishing twenty of those bags. I did get a full time job and am taking classes this spring and have three step children running around the house. So I will work as quickly as possible 🙂 The wall hanging was part of a quilt that a guild I was in we made. But I was hoping to work on some wall hangings of the Alaskan themed to sell. I will keep you posted. I will post the qaspeqs that I have for sale along with the make up bags. Thank you! 🙂
