Cats in the Hats where do I begin!
Its been a busy busy few months since I last blogged! But I have been a crafting fool!
Its been bags, bags, and more bags. I have been the crazy bag lady and it has been FUN! Some of these have been spoken for but some are ready to go to new homes!

Its been a busy December
Lets just say it was a busy busy December with sewing, sewing and more sewing!
Because homemade gifts are the best it was a busy sewing month. Frozen quilts. Christmas qaspeq vests. And just call me the crazy bag lady it was a busy month of bag making.
I have decided to move forward and start my own sewing business. Coming up with the business name was tough but I nailed it down to Sew Yup’ik.

Lets just say its been a busy month. With the new year approaching I am so thankful for my amazing supportive family and my obsessive personality to never sit down and rest and to always keep busy.Â
May your new year bring on happiness, good cheer, and all smiles!
Holy HUT damn.
Lets just holy, frigging canolly.
Lets just say I was a sewing mean machine and no one was getting in my way.
You ready…

This was one weekend of some serious sewing! I joined a sewing guild here in my hometown and I think it has released a beast in me! But I love it!
I cant wait to whip out more things! The owl heating pads are going to make great gifts, and those owl organizers are great for sewers!
BUT!
How the heck can one get excited for Christmas when its 40 degrees and raining?! UGH! Small world problems, I guess I should just be grateful, right….
Anyways! Enjoy! Its November 13th and we are nearing to a new year, a new leaf, and a new sewing machine maybe! 🙂
Happy Thirsty Thursday for those of YOU that celebrate 😉
October as a busy bee
Another busy bee.
Who says 13 credits, full time job, part time job, teenager, husband, pupper-do and sewing wasnt possible?
I guess you can say I like to stay busy as a bee, and do a very good job of that.
We are half-way thru October, which is insane! Where has summer gone? Where has fall gone?
As winter nears I get excited but sad because of how quickly time passes us, and sometimes I dont stop to enjoy the moments.
I enjoy what I do.
I enjoy my full time job.
My part time job working with the political frenzy is coming to an end. Only 12 more days and then the big boom of rush to the polls. So vote early, and just flat right vote.
And I love sewing. I love when winter nears because that means it times to bust out the fur and get fuzzy.
If I could just sew and go to school I dont know if that would be busy enough for me hence the two other jobs and all the other hats at home.
BUT enough rambling.
Heres the latest and greatest and I should have more projects to share before the end of the year!
Enjoy!

Do what makes you happy.Â
Do it often and with joy because life is all about being happy and finding joy in the little things such as sewing or beading.
October= Sew busy

October is half way thru and I feel like a sewing machine! I love the holidays and making stuff for the kids so I whipped out a ton of halloween trick or treat bags, and some table runners for those festive mamas.
Whaaaat. Whoooo? Me? Busy? Naw. Just crazy.
Lets just say its been a busy few months of harvesting berries and greens, sewing like a maniac, and taking time to breathe.Â
But here is what I what I have whipped up so far. Its been a crazy few months but as winter is approaching I will be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy the fruits of my labor.Â

Nothing like feeling rich with good food, friends, and family.Â
My heart is happy.Â
My creations in a nutshell

As a quilter, sewer, creator I am discovering that I love to make new things. I love to play around and make new creations. Everything I make I have taken a class, pinterested, or just accidently created it. Its a fun process and I learn something new every time I am creating things. I want to eventually make my own clothes, once I am skilled enough. On my Christmas list is a serger. I think I am ready to tackle that fear of using a serger and start expanding my sewing skills.
